What are the differences between the evaluation version and the registered version? A. The evaluation version allows you to manage 5 items. You cannot delete a managed item. SniperLogicTM is disabled. Q. How do I get new updates? A. GavelMinder will occasionally compare your program’s version with the current version available at our website (The option for this is under Tools | Options). If your version is out of date, you will be asked if you would like to download the latest update. The download will include updated eBay URLs. Our central server monitors the eBay URLs when we're not actively bidding or selling to see if the URLs still work. We get an alert when they break down (because eBay may have changed something on their site), which then kicks our developer into gear. We anticipate that a new version of GavelMinder would be available within a few hours of that alert. Q. Can GavelMinder handle multiple users? A. No, not the Personal Edition. The Enterprise Edition will handle multiple stations on your network with a single database and single eBay user name. The Commerce Edition will allow multiple user names in the same database - for the sophisticated seller. Q. Can GavelMinder handle non-eBay auctions? A. No. Like a verb, eBay is where the action is! Q. Can GavelMinder handle currency other than US? A. Not quite yet. Our currency support rollout will be ASEAN, CDN, ANZ, EU. Q. Why is GavelMinder Personal Edition so cheap? A. It's inexpensive. Not cheap. We have day jobs utilizing the same technology. But we think that this price point fills a niche in the eBay community - decent $ 5.00 auction software. You could pay ten times that for many complex features too cumbersome to use. But why ? Q. How do I purchase/register GavelMinder? A. Click here - PayPal Single Click. Q. What happens if my local time is different than eBay’s time? A. GavelMinder uses eBay time internally. We ignore your local time. The eBay Master Time Server is polled directly twice a day when GavelMinder is online. Q. I can't see the scrollbar in the grid view. A. Your screen resolution is probably set at 640x480. The minimum screen resolution for GavelMinder is 800x600 although 1024x768 is recommended. If you can’t see the scroll bar and you’re resolution is set to 640x480, you need to increase the display resolution and then decrease the width of the grid. Q. How come all you guys are in Hawaii? A. Because we got time for this, bruddah! In our case, we travel to Asia and "the mainland" quite frequently for other business. Hawaii is still in the US. This is halfway; Alaska's climate is rather cold. But in the daytime, we're stuck in the office - just like you. Q. Can I send email using AOL? A. No, AOL is not supported yet. Q. Does GavelMinder work with MSN? A. No, MSN is not supported yet. ErrorsQ. I get the error: "GavelMinder caused a general protection fault in module GDI.EXE…" How do I solve this problem? A. You may need to update your video card driver, or maybe you can try turning off the hardware acceleration:
